Sam Altman fired as CEO of OpenAI

 In a sudden move, Altman is leaving after the company’s board determined that he ‘was not consistently candid in his communications.’ President and co-founder Greg Brockman has also quit.

Sam Altman has been fired as CEO of OpenAI, the company announced on Friday.

“Mr. Altman’s departure follows a deliberative review process by the board, which concluded that he was not consistently candid in his communications with the board, hindering its ability to exercise its responsibilities,” the company said in its blog post. “The board no longer has confidence in his ability to continue leading OpenAI.”

Chief technology officer Mira Murati will be the interim CEO, effective immediately. The company will be conducting a search for a permanent CEO successor. When contacted by The Verge, OpenAI’s communications department declined to comment beyond the blog post. Employees at OpenAI found out about the news when it was announced publicly, according to multiple sources.

“I loved my time at OpenAI,” Altman said in a post on X (formerly Twitter). “It was transformative for me personally, and hopefully the world a little bit.” In a follow-up post, he described the experience of his firing as “sorta like reading your own eulogy while you’re still alive.”

OpenAI’s announcement also said that co-founder and president Greg Brockman will be stepping down as chairman of the board but remain at the company. Hours after it was published, Brockman posted to X that he had quit “based on today’s news.”

My Thought:-

“I think, it’s not good for company(openAI).“ Just think, use your brain for sometime, think the company(OpenAI) is doing any wrong, does it do wrong practice like scam in fund? Nope. Not these thing was done by Sam Altman’s leadership, OpenAI perform well in AI market and OpenAI is a industry king, recent devday was also good new announcements is fucking very good like Assistants Api, Custom GPT’s etc. And I think valuation is also near about 80 billion dollars (soon touching 100 billion dollars mark). Chat GPT is a huge success.

So, what hapened, why Sam Altman fired?

I think, I have two answers, one is real and one is my theory and research.

 First:-

It’s obvious that board think Sam is not more confident in OpenAI, he is not serious in work and bla bla.

But Sam disagree with that and say that it was a sudden decision that board take, you read on his X(formly Twitter) account. Greg(Co-Founder of OpenAI) also leave company after listening this shit news .

Second (My Theory):-

You know that OpenAI is a Microsoft owned company, where all decision takes by Microsoft because of huge investment in OpenAI. Firstly OpenAI is a non-profit after Microsoft funding it became a for-profit.

So, I think Microsoft want something like new things in company like new AI models that can dangerous for humanity that makes money for Microsoft but Sam disagree with that it, says it is not right.

The board of OpenAI(mainly Microsoft) decide to fire Sam and they want to make a puppet CEO of Microsoft for OpenAI.

It’s only conspiracy.

I think it’s a huge loss for OpenAI because Sam Altmam is doing very well in company and its similar like when Apple fired Steve Jobs and then company is not performing well then board to for comeback of Steve Jobs and I think it’s a similar condition.
